At the Derby Family Healing Centre, the Mobile Outreach Initiative supports women, children, and young people experiencing or at risk of family and domestic violence, both inside our crisis accommodation service and out in the community. Our team provides flexible, client-focused case management to ensure families are safe, supported, and connected to the right services, whether they are staying at the Centre or living in the wider community. We tailor responses to each client’s needs, offering culturally appropriate and child-focused support, while working closely with local police, courts, child protection, and other service providers. By combining internal refuge care with external outreach, we strengthen community safety, prevent homelessness, and help families rebuild their lives with dignity and stability.
