Derby Family Healing Centre are pleased to create a youth women's yarn circle where we have the opportunity to be introduced to different perspectives, knowledge, and patience from creating a safe space for stories to be shared while we do some arts, crafts and activities while we yarn.
Our mission is to give our local community a place to come together to implement learning, listening and respect each other in many ways to connect and build on our strengths as women.
Here at Marnin Bowa Dumbara Family Healing Center, we focus on keeping our women and children safe from family and domestic violence along with providing outstanding support tor community members experiencing the above. Our Program/Admin Support officers are passionate about interacting with the community to give women opportunities and support.
Here at Derby Family Healing Center we wholeheartedly concur that fostering community connections is crucial to promoting assistance for women to give them the support they need in a safe space to be heard.
